Google Reader vs Google News

10 Apr

I have been using both Google Reader and Google News a while now and I find that the reader is more useful.

This is in terms of being far more easier to use. It has more of an appealing layout, the news feed is one after another, so you can scroll down a specific news feed from one blog or website.

It is not only easier to use, but also more interesting to read from. The Google News’s layout is far too boxed shaped, everything is far too clustered. It’s no surprise that Google News is not used as much Reader, well, for me at least.

Overall, Google Reader is an easier way to track down news, which you have subscribed to by RSS feeds. So, it is far more catered to the specific person, instead of having Google news, which pulls information from everywhere  and displays it in a cluttered way on screen.
